ARS Staff
The owner/director of American River Speech is Jane deGelleke, M.A., CCC-SLP. Jane has worked exclusively with children with ASD and neurodevelopmental disorders for 20 years, and has extensive training and experience in providing evaluations and treatment. American River Speech has been recognized by FEAT, Alta California Regional Center, and school districts for outstanding contributions in working with this special population of children.
American River Speech is staffed by speech pathologists holding Master's degrees, licensed by the Board of Medical Quality Assurance, and certified through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). Therapists have extensive experience providing services to children with ASD.
ARS Services
American River Speech provides a full
range of speech and language services to clients from ages 12 months through
22 years. Our services include:
- Complete diagnostic speech, language, and socialization evaluations
- Individual and group therapy
- Socialization Training
- Community in-services
- Full inclusion classroom consultation
- Continuing Education Training
- Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) assessments
Non-Public Agency
American River Speech is certified through the California State Department of
Education to provide speech and language services to local schools as a certified
Non-Public Agency (NPA).
American River Speech is proud to work together with public schools to
develop appropriate services prescribed through the student's Individual Education Plan (IEP).
