American River Speech is a private practice located in the Sacramento area, specializing in the evaluation and treatment of individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), PDD-NOS, Asperger's Syndrome, Down Syndrome, Nonverbal Learning Disorder, Semantic Pragmatic Language Disorder, or related neurodevelopmental disorders. American River Speech offers Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) assessments performed by a licensed speech pathologist. American River Speech is not an insurance provider.

Clients range in age from 12 months through 18 years.

Referrals for evaluation and treatment are received from parents, school districts, ALTA California Regional Center, medical doctors, and psychologists.
